When does my child’s cohort come to campus for the first time?
Grade level Blue Green Teal
Kindergarten Oct. 26 Oct. 19 Oct. 19
1st grade Oct. 26 Oct. 22 Oct. 22
2nd grade Both 2nd-grade cohorts (East and West) return to campus on Oct. 26.
3rd grade Both 3rd-grade cohorts (East and West) return to campus on Oct. 26.
4th grade Oct. 26 Oct. 22 Oct. 22
5th grade Both 5th-grade cohorts (East and West) return to campus on Oct. 19.
Why a staggered re-entry plan?
  • Increases campus density thoughtfully, intentionally, and in phases
  • Builds student familiarity, in stages, with rules of the road for safety
  • Ensures accuracy with all health protocols and transparent communication with families to support individual situations
  • Builds on our experience of success with this approach in ELC, which has been successfully open since August 27
  • In general, your child will have four or five weeks on campus between the reopening of campus and the end of the calendar year. This will vary a bit by grade to accommodate the staggered re-entry.

Cohort rotation through January 16, 2021

LEGEND: Dates in red cells indicate vacation days, when there is no school. Dates in light blue cells indicate 100% distance learning days for all students.

For each row, the “K–4 DL Cohort” column indicates which of the three color cohorts is in distance learning that week. Where a color is not listed, the school is either on VACATION, or in 100% DL (distance learning), as indicated.
