On Friday, March 23, Dana Blum – senior director of Common Sense Media for Bay Area and partnership events – was on campus to discuss the health effects of digital distraction, the techniques some companies use to capture young users attention, and what parents and educators can do to help kids practice healthy media habits. This was the first of a two-part GATHER talk and Family Education session series.
