- Head of School
On Friday, March 27, Head of School Scott Erickson delivered a virtual GATHER talk titled “Encouraging Each Other in the Face of Challenges, Part 2: Cheerleading and Persuasion.”
Personal routines to prepare you for school routines
A key idea from this talk, these jobs are essential to be an engaged and successful learner:
- Job #1: Show up for distance learning ready to learn, every day.
- Job #2: Get a good night’s sleep, every night, so that you will be totally awake and alert during every minute of the school day.
- Job #3: Have a good breakfast before school starts so that you have the energy you need to learn.
- Job #4: Brush your teeth and get dressed in some school clothes (do not stay in pajamas), and get into a good learning position so that you are ready to pay attention when school starts.
