GATHER

GATHER is our regular community assembly, attended by faculty, administrators, staff, and students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. All parents and visitors are welcome to attend at any time, as well.

We come together at GATHER on most Friday mornings to participate in a group learning experience about our PBS values. Our GATHER leader (an administrator, faculty member, parent, or other adult) provides a lesson inspired by – among many things – literature, history, nature, music, art, personal experiences, and current events on a local, national, and international level.

During this time of inclusion and community-building, we also hear classroom reports from students in each grade on projects they are working on or something special that happened in their class that week.

Additionally, each 5th-grader will present at one GATHER in the year on a topic meaningful to them that they would like to share with the community, connecting their interest back to important life lessons such as patience, perseverance, and more.
