Service Learning

Rooted in our Core Values of Community and Kindness and our mission to nurture caring citizens, service learning is woven into the PBS experience. On campus, projects like plastics recycling in partnership with NexTrex and the student-led Earth Squad make caring for the planet a daily practice. Family collaborations through the Community Kindness volunteer group help maintain the beauty of our campus. Students engage in meaningful service learning projects like Supplies4FarmWorkers, fostering an early awareness of giving back to our local communities. Faculty and staff also embody this commitment, participating in service initiatives such as campus beautification and sewing blankets for those in need. Service at PBS is a reflection of how we live our Core Values every day.
