  • Available 7:30–8:05 a.m. each morning.
  • Supervised play, movement, conversation, and games.
  • Students move into classrooms at 8:05 a.m.
  • Before-School Care is free of extra charge.

After-School Care

At PBS, After-School Care is more than just childcare. It's a well-planned extension of the school day, with faculty-led activities and programs that align with our Core Values and encourage growth, connection, and engagement. After-School Care is available from dismissal until 5:30 p.m. every day.

  • Begins with a healthy snack and circle time.
  • A range of activities both indoors and outdoors.
  • Students build cross-grade connections and autonomy through independent exploration.
  • Students are provided time to work on homework assignments as needed.

After-School Enrichment

After school ends and the car lines have left for the day, many PBS students remain on campus to participate in specialized Enrichment classes taught by PBS faculty, staff, parent volunteers, and expert instructors. These classes provide exciting opportunities for students from Preschool to 5th Grade and offer a chance to dive deeper into their interests, build new skills, and explore new subjects through hands-on activities. The classes change each trimester (fall, winter, and spring) and are carefully curated to inspire student learners.

The Heart and Soul of our After-School Program

The team and I feel lucky to be part of leading this program. We all bring different strengths, but we share one thing in common: we love our work, and we love these kids.
