1st Grade East

Hi, I am in Mr. Shin and Mrs. Faruqi’s 1st-grade class. This week, we read The Gingerbread Man Loose in the School and then we went around the school on a scavenger hunt to find the Gingerbread Man. We found him at the Big Toy! Have a gingerbread Friday!

1st Grade West

Good morning. I am in Ms. Doolin and Mr. Cruz’s 1st-grade class. Today I want to share about the love of learning. It is easy and fun to do. Anyone can experience learning. Have a learning Friday!

2nd Grade East

Hello, I’m in Ms. Tachis and Mr. Taylor’s 2nd-grade class. In math, we saw 6 dots. We learned everyone’s brain saw the pattern differently. Au revoir, have a thrilling Friday!

2nd Grade West

Hi, I am in 2nd grade with Ms. Samuelson and Ms. Kridel. This week we made a graph with how many letters were in your first name and your last name. There are 6 letters in my first name and 5 letters in my last name. That is 11 letters total. Thank you for listening and have a graph-filled Friday!

3rd Grade East

Good morning. I am in Ms. Robinson and Ms. Kilsby’s 3rd-grade class. In 3rd grade, we have flexible seating. Flexible seating is where we find a seat that works best for us. We can choose from blue stability balls, wiggle stools, standing desks, and lots more. My favorite flexible seating option is the blue stability ball because it is fun, and I can do my best work there. Thank you for listening and have a flexible Friday!

3rd Grade West

Hi, I’m in Mrs. McCarthy and Ms. Kilsby’s 3rd-grade class. This week we made posters with facts about ourselves that have numbers that are special and related to us. We wrote equations to represent the numbers. For example May 17 is special to me, so I wrote 545 – 28 for others to solve. We did this so we could learn more about each other. Thank you for listening and have a mathematical day!

4th Grade East

I am from 4 East with Ms. Diaz and Ms. Saeed. This past week we worked on a project called 4 Fours. You had to use 4 fours to get the answer 1 and then the answer 2 all the way to 20. Have a good 4 Four rest of the week!

4th Grade West

Good Morning PBS. I am from Ms. Mauricio and Ms. Saeed’s 4th Grade class. This past week we had science. In science, we looked through microscopes. We saw all kinds of things in the slides. For example, we put a small sheet of paper with black numbers on it, but when you looked through the microscope you saw colored dots! This activity was so much fun! Thank you for listening. Have a science-filled Friday!
