(Three students) Hi! We are in Mrs. Cook and Miss Petersen’s Kindergarten class. In Kindergarten, we are making an arcade. We are working on making games and prizes. We are using ideas from our field trip tovArea 151. Have a Game Friday!

1st Grade East

Hi, I am in Mr. Shin and Ms. Faruqi’s 1st-grade class. This week in STEAM, we made paper buildings with shapes. I used five squares to build my structure. Thanks for listening and have a building-filled Friday!

1st Grade West

Good morning. I am in Ms. Doolin and Mr. Cruz’s 1st-grade class. This week in Emotional Intelligence, we made booklets that represented our 1st grade year. I enjoyed cutting out the different pieces for the booklet. Hope you have a memory-filled Friday!

2nd Grade East

Hello and welcome to Gather. I am in 2 East. This Wednesday, we went on a field trip to Hidden Villa. We went into the garden and I drank nectar from the flowers. At the end of the day we got to play in the creek. Have a nice and energetic Friday!

2nd Grade West

Good morning PBS. I am in 2 West. This week we had a field trip to Hidden Villa. We went on a hike, we worked in the garden, and we saw the farm animals. I liked visiting the sheet the best because there were baby lambs there too. I also got to kiss a banana slug! In the garden we spread wood chips around the plants. Have a nature-filled Friday!

3rd Grade West

Howdy! I am in 3 West. Yesterday, 3rd grade performed our Monologues. A monologue is when one person speaks about a certain topic. We spoke about Civil Rights characters. My monologue figure was Terrence Roberts in the Little Rock Nine. My favorite part was researching about the Little Rock Nine. Have a dream-fulfilling Friday

4th Grade East

Hi, I am in 4 East. This week we worked on showing our ELC buddies what Gather will be like for them next year.  We are preparing to host them for a mini-Gather next week. I’m excited to introduce this important community tradition to them. Thanks for listening and I hope you enjoy your own traditions this weekend!

4th Grade West

Hello, I am in 4 West. This week in Global Citizenship, we started studying immigration to California. As part of our study, we are going to take a trip to Angel Island next week. Angel Island was home to the Immigration Station that Chinese people had to stop at before they could get to America. I can’t wait to go there, because I have heard it is very beautiful, and I know it is full of history. Thanks for listening, and I hope you get to visit sometime!
