Kindergarten East

Hi, we are in Mrs. Cook and Miss Petersen’s Kindergarten class. This week we did Post Office.

Right: My favorite job is to sell the stamps.

Left: Mine too!

Have an envelope, post office filled Friday!

Kindergarten West

Hi, we are in Mrs. Tully and Ms. Stevens’s Kindergarten class. This week in Kindergarten, we had a new Math Workplace called Snowball Tallies. We had to put snowballs on and write the tallies above them.

Left: I got 30 tallies

Right: And I got 50 tallies.

Have a snowball Friday!

1st Grade East

Hi, I am in Mr. Shin and Ms. Faruqi’s 1st-grade class. This week during choice time, we built a mad science lab out of Kaplas. We used all 1000 blocks. Thanks for listening and have a good Friday!

1st Grade West

Good morning. I am in Ms. Doolin and Mr. Cruz’s 1st-grade class. This week, in Science, we made 3D shapes. We made two different shapes. My favorite
part was assembling all the pieces together. Hope you have a 3D shaped Friday.

2nd Grade West

Good morning. I am in 2 West. This week we went to The Children’s Creativity Museum. We made stop motion films using felt characters. My favorite part was watching the whole film play. P.S. Happy Birthday Ms. Kridel and have an artsy Friday!

3rd Grade East

Namaste. I am in 3 East. This week in the 3rd grade we went to the Palo Alto Baylands. Our class was separated into two groups to go fishing. One group was throwing the net in the water, while the second group pulled the net out of the water using the ropes. We caught three fish! My favorite part was throwing the net in because it got very exciting when you had to run across the bridge to help the other side. Have a fishing Friday!

4th Grade West

Bonjour. I am in 4 West. This week in Music, we started learning about guitars and how they work. Even though I have played the guitar before, I am looking forward to this as a challenge. These guitars will lead us all the way up to the stage on Grandparents Day in May. I hope you’re looking forward to the performance and have a musical Friday.
