Hello, I am in Mrs. Tully and Ms. Steven’s Kindergarten class. This week in Kindergarten, we framed our pictures for the Art Show. I painted my frame red, purple and brown. It was really fun! Have an artistic Friday!

1st Grade East

Hi, I am in Mr. Shin and Ms. Faruqi’s 1st-grade class. Last week in Math, we opened a store for building materials. Each small building material cost one cent and each big box cost six cents. Everyone got ten cents. Have a building Friday!

1st Grade West

Good Morning. We are in Ms. Doolin and Mr. Cruz’s 1st-grade class. Last week for Connect Friday, we painted the flower pots in Laine’s garden. (Student 1) I painted the red one. (Student 2) I helped paint the purple one. You should check it out. Hope you have a colorful Friday!

2nd Grade East

Namaste! We are in Ms. Tachis and Mr. Taylor’s 2nd-grade class. In Science, we are creating habitats for freshwater animals. We put gravel, rocks and sand inside the habitat. In the habitats we put fish, worms, and snails to see which section they liked the most. We also put in water fleas for the fish to eat and loved observing the water animals together. Thank you for listening and have a fishy Friday!

2nd Grade West

Hi, I am in Ms. Samuelson and Ms. Kridel’s 2nd-grade class. This week in Art, I made a background for my clay dog named Pippa. It has a comfy bed for her to sleep on. My background and sculpture will be in the Art show next week. Have an artistic Friday!

3rd Grade East

Hello, I am in Ms. Robinson and Ms. Kilsby’s 3rd-grade class. This week in Music Connect, we discussed service learning. We talked about what a person needs, what people want, and items that are luxuries. We also watched videos about people helping others to fulfill their needs and wants. Have a grateful Friday!

3rd Grade West

Bonjour. I am in Mrs. McCarthy and Ms. Kilsby’s 3rd-grade class. In the 3rd grade, we have been working on monologues. Monologues are speeches where you are acting as somebody else. My monologue figure is Phillis Wheatley, the first African American poet. I enjoy monologues because you get to see the perspective of someone who made a mark on history. Have a poetic Friday!
