GATHER

GATHER, our weekly Friday morning community gathering, is a cornerstone of the PBS experience. This cherished time brings students, families, faculty, and staff together to hear inspiring speakers, celebrate cultural traditions, showcase student voices, and reflect as a community. Rooted in our core values, GATHER strengthens bonds and fosters a sense of inclusion and belonging.Led by administrators, faculty, parents, or other community members, each GATHER offers a lesson inspired by literature, history, nature, music, art, personal experiences, or current events. Invited speakers explore diverse topics, from cultural celebrations to reflections on emotions, all presented in an engaging, family-friendly way. Students also share classroom highlights, giving everyone a window into the projects and experiences happening across our campus.

A hallmark of GATHER is the 5th Grade presentation series, a capstone experience for our graduating class. Each 5th-grader prepares and delivers a personal presentation with guidance from their teachers, embracing our Core Value of Courage. This experience fosters confidence, pride, and the skills to speak with authenticity and purpose.

GATHER is a celebration of the Community, Kindness, and Courage that define PBS.
