Ms. Keriann Armusewicz
M.A., Art and Art Education, Teachers College, Columbia University
The one thing I’m most looking forward to about working at PBS is... getting to know members of the PBS community.
I chose to work at PBS because... of its commitment to child-centered learning and collaboration.
One or two things you might not know about me are... I play recreational soccer and love visiting new museums while traveling.
From the announcement of Keriann’s appointment as Art Teacher, in April 2017:
We welcome Keriann Armusewicz to PBS from, most recently, Sag Harbor, New York, though her career teaching art has brought her to Singapore, South Korea, and Egypt. She holds a bachelor’s degree in art education from the State University College at Buffalo, from which she graduated magna cum laude, and a master’s degree in art and art education from Teachers College at Columbia University. Her work has spanned from pre-Kindergarten through 10th grade and has included both classroom instruction and curriculum development, with a focus on interdisciplinary learning.
