Ms. Charlotte Zanders Waxman
Charlotte joined the board in 2018; she sits on the Advancement and Campaign Core Committees. Charlotte grew up in the Netherlands and moved to the United States to attend Brown University. She worked in finance in New York City before moving to the Bay Area in 2009. Charlotte is an active volunteer in the community, focusing on closing the opportunity gap for Bay Area children. She serves on the board of the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health as well as on the boards of FitKids and the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Peninsula. At PBS she is a former co-chair of the Annual Fund and an active classroom volunteer. She and her husband Alan have four young children: three current PBS students (’22, ’23 and ’26) and a future PBS student. In her spare time, Charlotte enjoys running, reading, traveling with her family, and sampling all the croissants she can get her hands on.
