Mr. Edward Johnson
Ward and his wife Stephanie are the parents of a PBS graduate ('20) and today remain dedicated to the PBS community. Ward is a litigation partner at the global law firm of Mayer Brown LLP. Ward represents clients in complex commercial trials, international arbitrations, shareholder disputes, intellectual property, data privacy, and trade secret litigation as well as in large scale class actions. Ward serves on Mayer Brown's Partnership Board and is Managing Partner of the firm's Northern California offices in Palo Alto and San Francisco. Prior to moving back to California in 2000, Ward served as Deputy Solicitor General of New York State. Ward grew up in New York, Minnesota, and California. He holds a B.A in Philosophy from the University of Virginia and a J.D. from Yale Law School. In his downtime, Ward enjoys audiobooks, listening to his daughter sing, and watching his son play football.
