Head of School Search
WELCOME
With the 2024 departure of longstanding Head of School Dr. Scott Erickson, and the subsequent Interim appointment of Diane Rosenberg as Head of School for '24-'25, the Board of Trustees assembled a Search Committee to undertake the process of identifying our next permanent Head of School. In searching for a new Head of School, the Board is guided by our mission and core values.
The Board appointed Jenny Brokaw, Vice Chair of the Board and Chair of the Governance Committee, and Marie Kayal, Trustee, to serve as Co-Chairs of the Head of School Search Committee. The Search Committee retained RG175, a highly regarded consulting firm specializing in head of school searches. The RG175 consultants are Jerry Katz and Bodie Brizendine who bring decades of school head experience to the search and have a deep understanding of the Bay Area independent school landscape.
If any member of the community would like to reach out to the Head of School Search Committee with questions, comments, or thoughts, please feel free to send an email to PBSSearch@phillipsbrooks.org.
