eScrip is a program which donates money to non-profits when participating families use their credit cards, debit cards, and Safeway cards, shop online, and dine out – all at no cost to the participants. In the Spring of 2011, PBS turned the management of our eScrip program over to PBSA. The money raised through eScrip goes toward the operating budget of PBSA.
There are three ways families can help earn money through the eScrip program:
- Sign up online at eScrip.com and register your Safeway club card, credit cards (including American Express) and debit/ATM cards. Make sure you add Phillips Brooks School (eScrip Group ID – 126418390) to the list of schools you support. You can support up to three non-profits. After you sign up, use the cards you registered when shopping at participating merchants and earn contributions. Participating merchants frequented in our area include: Andronico’s, Bianchini’s Market, Draegers Market, Mollie Stone’s, Safeway, and Safeway.com.
- Shop online at the eScrip Online Mall and earn. First go to eScrip.com (make sure your name is at the top welcoming you as a supporter), then click on the eScrip Online Mall logo. Select the store where you would like to shop. You will be redirected to the store’s website. Make your online purchase and earn contributions. You can also download AutoEarn, which is browser specific. After you install AutoEarn, you can shop directly at hundreds of merchant websites and earn contributions. Participating online merchants frequented include Amazon, Nordstrom, Expedia, Travelocity, Pottery Barn Teen, Apple iTunes, and Apple Store.

- Dine out and earn. After you have signed up online at eScrip.com and have registered your credit and debit cards, use those cards when you dine out at participating restaurants and earn contributions. For a complete list of participating merchants in your area, visit eScripDining.com and enter your zipcode.
If you have previously registered a Safeway club card, please login to your account and renew the card between August 1 and November 1 of each year. If you do not renew, Safeway contributions will stop. Safeway cards are the only cards that need to be renewed each year. Debit and credit cards will remain active as long as you remain a supporter.
