Through stories and book talks, the library fosters an appreciation of traditional and current literature, as students are exposed to the best of fiction and nonfiction books. Library classes are held weekly for children in the Early Learning Center through Second Grade. Children in Grades Three through Five visit the library informally throughout the day and with their classes at arranged times. Developmentally appropriate library skills are taught throughout the grade levels.Library stories offer support to the classroom curriculum as well as enhance each student's cultural literacy.
