Social Learning

Social Learning

At the Phillips Brooks School we believe that the social curriculum is as important as the academic curriculum. Through the social curriculum we set high standards for behavior, guiding students to be kind, respectful, responsible, caring citizens who are accountable for their actions. With the Responsive Classroom approach as our foundation, social skills are modeled and practiced in each classroom and reinforced through chapel lessons. The common language we are developing to address student behavior, promotes a safe, comfortable, challenging and joyful learning environment and a sense of community throughout the school.
