Thank you for your interest in The Phillips Brooks School. PBS offers an exceptional program and learning community for children from pre-school through Grade 5 and we are delighted to help you find out more about us.

Choosing a school is an important turning point in your family’s life. A child’s journey through pre-school and elementary school plays a key role in helping frame their lifelong approach to learning, problem solving, and engaging in community. At The Phillips Brooks School we encourage students and families to ask questions and research options when faced with a choice, and we hope you do the same as you consider the best school match for your child and family.

We believe that one of the most effective ways for you to get a true feel for the unique environment here at Phillips Brooks is to see it for yourself. From October through January, the Admission Office hosts campus tours to see our inspiring faculty, students and classrooms in action, and we encourage you to contact us by phone or online to make an appointment.

We are here to provide a welcoming, friendly and useful introduction to PBS and a helpful, comprehensive application and admission experience. The links to the left contain a wealth of specifics and options to request information and arrange campus tours to help get you started. We also hope you thoroughly explore the rest of our website to gain more perspective on the very special philosophies, programs, and community at work here at The Phillips Brooks School. You may also be interested in some compelling information about the lifelong benefits of Independent School education.

We look forward to getting to know you and would be privileged to work with you as you seek a school for your child. Please call or email the Admission Office at 650-854-4545 x137 or admissions@phillipsbrooks.org, or 650-854-4545 x110 or mshaw@phillipsbrooks.org to reach me.

Sincerely,
