No matter how colorful, animated or elaborate a website, it cannot replace a visit to The Phillips Brooks School. Through trips to campus, families have caught the spirit of the school, embraced our mission and seen wonderful opportunities for their children to learn and grow. However, before you come visit, I hope this website will serve as an introduction to who we are and tell you more about our school. With detailed information about our program and community, you will soon learn what makes PBS so unique.
Since its founding in 1978, The Phillips Brooks School has been a leader in elementary education. Along with excellent preparation in academic “basics,” our graduates leave as confident, empowered learners, fully prepared to take the next step to middle school. PBS graduates attend all of the leading independent schools in the area, as well as public and parochial schools.
So, I invite you to browse our site and get to know us a little better, and then, I hope you will come visit the school, live and in-session. See the excitement on students’ faces, the teachers’ enthusiasm and the strong sense of community, of which we are so proud. PBS is a very special place – just ask our graduates!
